I just switched to 3x week full body workout...so each bodypart being hit 3x week. I was doing a 2x per bodypart split but testing out this full body approach.
Re: exercises - I use mostly dumbbells except for benching. I was using cables pre-covid and will add those back once I start going to the gym again.
Some tips I've found effective include doing leaning side laterals for side delts (the lean maximizes the range of side delt involvment), angled extensions for triceps (hits the long head well vs that tends to get overlooked) and reverse grip dumbbell press can accentuate upper chest focus. I'll try to do a fuller article on some of the above but hope this helps for now!
